homeward bound

this is the term repeatedly uttered by my brother the whole day yesterday to calm everyone. that fluffy's somewhere finding his way back home. all of us are saddened that a scary fact is seeping through us: fluffy's gone.

fluffy has been our dog for almost seven years now. we would whole-heartedly accept if he died because we expected that since he's really old. but that fact that he was hit by a tricycle going downslope, ran and gone forever (and we are still hoping that we would see him infront of our door wagging his tail) in the woods having no idea if he's still breathing or not, is really hurting for the whole family.

my dad and my brother alternately went back to the spot where fluffy was hit and asked the neighborhood in that area if they had seen our fluffy. they also screamed his name a couple of times while searching, hoping for a response.

a brush of strong rain hit our town yesterday. the thought that our dearly beloved dog is somewhere in the woods hurting and no roof on his head, was really heart-breaking.

zaide suggested that we should get a new dog. but me and my mom wouldn't hear of it.

uwi ka na fluffy, sige na
