at peng's

today is a day-off for me, olive and sherwin since we helped with the application testing last saturday. i was chatting with peng yesterday and decided to spend the day today at their house since i haven't seen her in, like, AGES! the last time was her birthday, and that was March 15.

i was suppose to be at peng's house around lunch time, but i arrived around 1pm since i have to wait for zaide before i can leave the house.

so peng and i had "the talk" the minute i entered their house. i brought rocky road and coffee crumble ice cream. i poured my heart out when we settled in their kitchen while eating ice cream.

i cried again.

i said i am still sad, and still hurting. she noticed that i was thinner. i told her that there are a lot of things i realized about myself since the last time we talked. she understands why i find it hard to get things together, and was surprised when i told her the things i've been going through to cope. one of the reasons why i am in tears while telling my story was being overwhelmed by the fact that there are a lot of people who cares about me. i shared about my friends. friends who makes me laugh and made me realize things. i told her how lucky and blessed i am having them around.

after the talk, her sister mhe-an arrived with her nieces' francine and ice. this really was my lucky day :)

i helped francine with her play dough. we wanted to create a snake out of it, but we ended up making burger patties instead. she showed me the star she got from school. i wanted to take a picture of the star, but it was washed out and the print was barely visible. francine and i had this gigil moment when she started kissing and hugging me non-stop! we wrap the clay sessions because it's siesta time for her and ice.

i asked peng about her galera trip. she and her friends from work spent three nights there. i told her i saw the pictures in friendster. then i continued and told her that i never really had a summer. that it was all work and home for me. we ended up promising that the two of us should spend three or more days in galera next summer since we can file vacation leaves with our respective jobs. i didn't stay for dinner since i really have to go to my lolo's house to meet my brother before going home. we wrapped the day up by having a photo op, since the last we had was from her birthday.
