It was headlined that high-tech gadgets will be used to finally solve the mysterious disappearance of Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan. Earhart is America's favorite missing person.

I've been hearing her name from a couple of songs which I cannot really remember the titles at the moment.

While I was reading the article about this 70-year-old mystery, I found myself asking this question:

What if Earhart really planned to just vanish? Not really died, but be anonymous? Though her journey was a much-publicized expedition in the history of mankind, what if she just wants to get away from it all?
