Being reprimanded by the police because of speed driving have been a part of all of the series I've seen. From Beverly Hills 90210, Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, and even Smallvile; there is one or two episodes with that scene. I wondered how police officers track down these overspeeding vehicles along the highway and found out that they're using radar detectors.
