Royalties Matter

In the recent years, intellectual rights have been strictly implemented on both the movie and the music industry. I remember when I was working for a TV station, it was really strict because you cannot use a video or sound clip if you are not armed with the right papers. I was surprised to know that AlwaysHD, an HD Stock Video Library, is now making these videos available that can be utilized by advertising agencies, broadcast television studios, independent film makers and documentary producers which can be purchased "royalty free". This means that the buyers can use these videos without the pre-ordained set or usage limitations. AlwaysHD stock videos are mainly submitted by cinematographers from the fields whose aim is to share their videos and earn an extra revenue from the sales of their clips.

I just hope that someday, there will something like this available in the Philippine market because this will be a huge help for the local producers.
