Blissful

A flush of bliss was contained in a transfer tank. It was so infecting that anyone is mesmerized by its effect that it caused a sudden euphoria of immense gratefulness, making them live life to the fullest.

This is what makes of a person waking up happy. Any stress has no match to it.

Have a great morning, everyone!

Upper Box B (Free Seating)

The Patron VIP is the mosh pit part, which is the nearest I can get to Brandon Boyd, hehehe. The Patron is the second nearest, where you can reach as far as Boyd's fingertips; that if he reached out and stretch his arms to the crowd. Lower Boxes and Upper Boxes are not that bad too...

And I heard Up Dharma Down will be the opening act for the show. I asked Ean (UDD's drummer) about it, and he said that he heard about that but it's not confirmed yet. But they might...

*In deep thought*

4.5K for Brandon Boyd and Incubus' superb music plus Up Dharma Down as opening act...

Impromptu Vegas

Flashing lights envelops a sturdy hotel in Vegas.
Dwelling in the midst of different faces of humanity.
The lurkers, gamblers, tourists and performers alike.
Seeks different directions in the city that never sleeps.
Beneath the loudness, the city stares.
Trying to fathom the absurdity, the greatness.
The desires and the woes.
Many secrets kept, many secrets revealed.
Drunken or sober, loosers and winners.
They're all in Vegas.

Daydreaming

What if a movie buff like me would have one of those popcorn machines at home? It would be heaven! Paired with a huge LCD screen and unlimited supply of DVDs and a good friend in tow, I could live inside my very own home theater. It would be days of unending movie marathons and TV episode reviews on the side. Wah! I can't wait to watch another movie this coming weekend just daydreaming about it!

Not Yet. Maybe Soon

My mother collects gold jewelry. She said she collects them for me. From watches, to bracelets, to earrings; she has them. Too bad, I am not fond of wearing jewelries. Every morning, she never fails to ask if I wanted to wear something from her collection to match my dress, and I would always decline. Maybe I would, in the rarest occasions.

Missing A Lot

I was dead sick yesterday. I was supposed to go to Makati and Mayrics, but I ended up in bed the whole day. I was able to start another book by Conan Doyle after finishing a Gaiman book, which I'll be writing a review here. I still haven't had the chance to write my review for Sweeney Todd because of our busy schedule. I, together with my other team mates from Teloworks, started reporting at our client's site at PhilAm. The company provided us with machines, but mine has not been set-up for the internet yet. I am hoping that it will be connected soon, as I have been missing a lot of e-mails. But it has a positive effect though, since I don't have anything else to worry about but the tasks at hand.

I've only been at PhilAm for a week but I already miss my chair, my table, my computer, my purple bear and my koala bear. I miss the Hit Squad. I miss the people at Teloworks. I believe the team will be staying at PhilAm for a couple of months, ten months to be exact. So all of us in the team will be back around November :(

...too Tired

... but I just have to keep my mind afloat to submit everything on time. I gave my forehead a few wipes in the past hour because the computer shop I'm in has poor ventilation. I rejected some of my pending task today because I am exhausted, and most of them requires a minimum of 100 to 300 words per post, and will expire by midnight.

My mind's exhausted.

I wasn't even in the mood to talk to anyone today because of my grueling sore throat, which annoyingly affected my whole day. Joy advised that I should sip some tea--warm tea--and go to bed and sleep it off. I am positive that I tick some people off because of my moodiness.

And I feel bad about it.

Tired

It's really hard when your mind is really tired, especially at this time of the day. I was thinking of things to write about diet pills, and other forms of these prescribed drugs. It's very timely since two prominent people died because of ingesting the wrong dosage of medicine and mixing them with the wrong substance. As you all know, Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger died in the same manner...

Save A Whole Load Of Money

What do you want to buy right now? A new pair of shoes? The current best selling novel? A digital camera? The latest MP3 player? A new game console? Or maybe the latest flat screen TV? Most of us would think once, twice, or even four times before splurging because of one important reason: the things that you want might be out of your budget. Good thing there are services on the world wide web that can help you get what you want even if you're pockets are not too deep. Save Buckets is an easy-to-navigate website that lets you compare prices and give useful tips before or when purchasing. Just type the item you are looking for (for example, an iPod) and you have an option of getting results from all the shops from the wide Save Buckets list of stores or from the shops that you usually go to. What's really interesting and cool about the website is that you can enter your desired price range, and it will limit your search to the stores that offer the product within that price range. Or if you found what you're looking for and its not in your price range, you can leave your e-mail and they will send you a message once the product becomes available within your price range. This only means that there's a 70-30 chance that you can have that MP3 player or that flat screen TV that you desire. Now how lovely is that?

Death Of The Joker

Heath Ledger died last night.

This was an unexpected death. Authorities claims his death was accidental, that he unintentionally ingested a medicine with the wrong dosage. I personally was surprised and devastated when I heard the news this morning. I just adore him in every film that he did. He is one of those they call "character actor", and among the young ones that really has huge potential to make it really big in Hollywood.

Of course, everyone was anticipating the next Batman film, not because of Bale, but because of Ledger's outstanding portrayal of The Joker.

It's all over the news and a lot had been written and said about Heath Ledger and his tragic death, but I am struck with this message from Michelle Williams' (Heath's former flame and the mother of his daughter, Matilda) father:

"I think [poet] Tennyson got it right in the poem when he described someone as having died at a young age but burning the candles at both ends, and oh what a beautiful flame he made, that was Heath, what a beautiful flame he made and a great talent."

She always anticipate its annual fashion show where supermodels showcase the line's wide collection of fine lingerie on the runway. She even dreams of becoming one of those lucky models one day. That's why she always keep herself fit by sticking to her daily excercise routine and always watch her diet.

Piling Up

Another set of keywords was assigned to me this week, together with other requests to write a review about their website here. One of the keywords I got was New York Moving Company, and five others, which I'll most likely accomplish before the weekend. Pending assignments are piling up, so might as well fix my schedule since I'll be reporting in a different office starting today.

TV Shopping

I have this habbit of tuning in to home tv shopping when nothing good is on. I found the products that they sell quite entertaining. I never buy anything from them though. They seem to sell a lot of different kinds of grills, juicers and slicing materials that always promise an easier kitchen life. Of course, there are hundreds of different dusting and moping materials that promises to make your abode squeaky clean. But my favorite amongst them are the fitness gadgets that promises viewers to have firmer abs, slender body and, of course, loosing weight. I found a website which sums up everything that we see on home tv shopping. If you want to check it out, click here.

DelaHoya/Mayweather Rematch

Calling all boxing fans! Golden Boy Promotions' CEO Richard Schaefer told ESPN that the bout between boxing heavyweights' Oscar DelaHoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr., is "almost finalized" for September 13 or September 20.

These two memorable boxers had their last face-off May 5 of last year at the MGM Grand where Mayweather won a split decision and took De La Hoya's junior middleweight belt. Mayweather is boxing's No.1 fighter, matched with one of the most celebrated boxers around, DelaHoya, a rematch was hard to pass up.

De La Hoya had earlier had said that he wanted to return into the welterweight division. Mayweather is the welterweight world champion. Schaefer said that the details of the rematch hadn't been determined. He said that it could be somewhere between the 147-pound welterweight division and 154-pound junior middleweight class.

The said fight has not been confirmed but Golden Boy Promotions is holding the September dates at the 27,000-seat Home Depot Center, but other venues are also interested to hold the much-awaited rematch, including the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

This match is a must see, as two of the most popular boxers in history will come face to face and prove who's the best.

De La Hoya/Mayweather tickets will soon be on-sale. Check out the link for more details.

1. What was the one toy or thing you didn't have in childhood that you promised yourself you'd get for yourself or get lots of when you grow up (and have money)?
- Books and Colorful markers and pens.

- NO! That's insane.

3. Why do you think the taba (pork fat) is always put at the end of the barbecue stick?

4. What do you usually order when you come to eat at these joints -- McDonalds, Jollibee, Wendy's, Shakey's/Pizza Hut?

- McDonald's: Sausage McMuffin with Egg
Jollibee: Spaghetti
Wendy's: Frosty

Pizza Hut: Pasta

Holga On Monday!

Finally, I can have my hands on my very own Holga 120 CFN. The package is now ready for claiming at customs in MCPO. Mang Rudy (thanks again, Mang Ruds!) gave the package notice last Friday, but it was almost 5pm so there's no chance I'll be reaching the post office on time. My Holga would look something like this:

I am hoping that the 120 film and the batteries I ordered came with the Holga, since I ordered them all in the same week. I am also hoping that I would not be asked to pay more that two thousand when I claim it. I heard duty charges given by customs vary depending on the package.

*fingers crossed*

I need to find the appropriate vitamins for women for me. There are a lot in the market but I don't know what suits me best. I take Centrum before, but a friend of mine suggested that I should take specific vitamins like Vitamin C or Iron since I am prone to having colds and seemed pale sometimes. Any suggestions?

Being a PR 3 blog have also made a huge change on the given assignments. They're now overflowing! I have a lot of keywords on queue, and one of them was progesterone, which was previously given to me. I'm planning to finish half of the bulk today since I may not be able to blog as much next week.

eBooks

One of my goals for this year is to read as many books as I can. But it seems impossible since I'll be swamped with a lot of projects in the next ten months. Since most of my time will be spent infront of my PC, an eBook might come in handy. BooksOnBoard.com have exactly what I need because they carry over 190,000 titles from Romance eBooks, Fiction eBooks, Fantasy eBooks etc., and are available in Adobe pdf, Mobipocket, Microsoft Reader and Palm/ereader format. How cool is that?

Na-miss ko si Wacks.

It has been two years since the last time I've seen him. With a lot of plans to meet up, we only made it last night. It was suppose to be a group night out with some friends from the office, but they got stuck with requested emergency testing for their projects, that's why I ended up spending it with Wacks. Not that I am complaining. :)

We had a very loooong talk about A LOT of stuff, which is great because I found out that we've gone through the same things last year. I shared to him about my new friends, and he shared about his.

We've changed and have matured a lot, but I am glad he still is the same sincere and jolly Wacks that I knew.

Condos

Popular stars nowadays prefer condominiums from townhouses. Some of them even gets these units for free in exchange for advertisement. The structure is more convenient since most condos are built in the heart of the city, unlike these Branson Missouri units built in the middle of a golf course. These celebrities prefer the modern designs from the traditional ones, as it reflects their fast-paced career as a prominent personality.

Crashing Down

The melody keeps ringing in my head for days now. This song, performed live by Mat Kearney above, is included in the Original Soundtrack of Grey's Anatomy. I'm stuck with Season Two and never had a chance to continue watching the series. I know that this is one of the programs affected by the writer's strike. If I'll have a chance, I really want to rummage the CD rack of the person responsible for Grey's music. The tunes ALWAYS, always compliment each and every scene, which makes the viewers more hooked.

Enjoy! :)

Primetime No-no For Kids

My Papa and I were watching the primetime TV adaptation of Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara over dinner. The movie itself gave me unstoppable goosebumps and was surprised that they are doing a serye version of it. I've seen numerous plugs of the show but never really had the chance to digest an episode until last night. While watching it, I started ranting and told my Papa that the show was absurdly placed in primetime because it's too scary for kids. I have no doubt, most of them are developing nightmares because of Jodi Sta. Maria's character: a troubled ghost seeking revenge.

Kaya nga may Parental Guidance eh
, Papa said. But I followed that not all children have diligent parents to share tv time with their kids. Some of them watch TV shows at a neighbor's house, or in their own living room unsupervised. Then I continued questioning how MTRCB allowed this to happen.

Tsk,tsk, tsk.

Yup, my blog is back on the face of PageRank! I only found out about it this morning when I logged in to one of the websites I am writing for. I cannot believe my eyes at first when I saw a "3" under the Google column, so I did my own page rank check and confirmed that my blog's rank sky rocketed in just four months.

A lot of bloggers will never forget the evaluation done by Google during the last quarter of 2007, removing all the hard-earned page rank of various blogs. This moved caused mayhem, resulting to other companies creating their own version of page ranking for their beloved bloggers.

I truly think I owe it all to Entrecard. Having the widget on my site was a huge, huge help in improving my traffic. I sent a thank you message for them a while ago. Entrecard is definitely making a mark on the blogosphere by helping bloggers connect and learn from each other.

Another good news: my blog was featured in BlogsWeLuv! Yey! I was overwhelmed and cannot stop smiling when I saw that my "10 Questions..." entry is the featured post since January 10. If you want to read it, just click on the BlogsWe♥ icon.

Lingering

Your grace runs through my veins
Elusive reflection of your eyes
Painted in the horizon
Blown by the wind, out of nowhere
Echoes of your thoughts from within
This empty happiness, longing for you
Inquiring footsteps, back and forth
Anxious, breathing like a stone
Shaken by the waves of your voice
When you mention my name
But then you're gone, completely gone
My sharp and slippery assonance
Led to your vanishing presence

That presence is my life...

Waiting For Sweeney

It will be a computer rental-free weekend for me since there are no other assignments for me to accomplish. That means I'll have A LOT of spare time to read and finish other pending materials (magazines and more magazines) that's been piling up on my rack.

A lot of good movies are premiering next week, but I am looking forward to watch Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's latest, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. It's the film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim's hit musical. I've seen a couple of clips of the movie. It's not the typical type of movie that I watch since it has gory details like neck-ripping and blood squirting, but Depp's charm and Burton's extravagant production and focus on details are just irresistible. Plus the movie also features Helena Bonham Carter, who played Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

I just found out this morning that Carter is Tim Burton's long-time partner.

Rockstars Pour On This Side Of The Planet

I called Sheldon a while ago to ask if he has a friend who collects Jim Henson DVDs. I was mistaken because he said that it was he who loves the director's works and not some friend of his. I am now helping him set up his own PayPal account because he wants to purchase items from Ebay. Talked to Champ for a bit too, but he made it short since they're currently recording songs for their up coming album.

I'm excited about the rockstars who will be coming here in the Philippines within the first three months of 2008: My Chemical Romance on the 25th, Maroon 5 on March 5 and Incubus on March 9. Talk about downpour!

I'm not really a fan of My Chemical Romance. I am now in the middle of deciding on whom to watch: Maroon 5 or Incubus. Ticketnet still hasn't posted ticket prices for Maroon 5's concert and still haven't heard any details about the concert of Brandon Boyd's band. For the record, I never really enjoyed Maroon 5's latest release I Wont Be Soon Before Long. All the songs sound the same to me, unlike the songs from their debut album, Songs About Jane. And there's no doubt, the band will be showcasing their latest songs during the concert. But I badly want to see how hot Adam Levine is in person, LOL. I am now saving up for the tickets. I wonder when will they be selling tickets, or post the prices for that matter.
