I still have to find out if we will be needing Brochure Printing service, but the web site's offer would really fit the limited budget of the benefit concert.

August 23 Benefit
I volunteered and lend my "connections" to organize the concert for the John Lyall Foundation this coming August. Hale and Chicosci will wrap the whole day event, which is really a bargain because we will be selling tickets at only Php100. Further details will be discussed regarding the activities during the day in tomorrow's meeting. Micah have been updating the whole team about the posters, tickets and other marketing materials that we will distribute in the coming days. He shared that the price range of the Printing Services within the area is manageable, but we have to think of an alternate plan. I did my part and searched for other alternatives for this, and found a website that offers Cheap Brochure Printing and other amazing deals.
Wholesale Printing Direct offers full range of print products and solutions, including mailing services. They have highly skilled professionals, the newest equipment and the most advanced technology in printing available like a 20-micron, high-definition stochastic screening for near-photographic quality. This will be great because we will be including some images on our posters and tickets.
I still have to find out if we will be needing Brochure Printing service, but the web site's offer would really fit the limited budget of the benefit concert.

Elusive Silence Stirs
I went home late last night.Had to render extra time at the office since documents are due for approval tomorrow. I spent my Monday reviewing and incorporating comments with the required document deliverables. I left Makati around 10pm. I was at our doorstep at 11 and ate dinner around 11:30. I freshen up and then went inside my room around 12 midnight. I spent one whole hour lying down tumbling, twisting, and talking to my cat who eventually got tired of me and dozed off while I was trying to tell her how my long day went. 1:30, and I still can't sleep. Then I just realized I was typing these words on my cellphone:REBOUND
Elusive silence stirs
a non-sense guilt and cry.
Of a lost hope that kills
one unsung lullabye.
Shapeless longing he kept
within wraps of deceit.
Shattered tide of times
where she never even wept.
Pointless, shadowed wisdom,
still he blindly stares.
Not even glancing,
the heart he unawarely bears.

Rodeo Mode
Howdy!
Cowboys are known for their horse-back-riding toughness when they do the rodeo, but have you heard of a super bowl for rodeo? Yes, folks they have a huge annual rodeo tournament which is popularly known as the National Finals Rodeo or the NFR. The event is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is sponsored by Wrangler Jeans.
A little history: The first NFR was held in Dallas in 1959 and continued at that venue through 1961. In 1962-64 Los Angeles hosted the competition. The National Finals Rodeo showcases the best of the best in rodeo. This popular rodeo event was established in 1958 in order to determine the world champion in each of rodeo's seven main events: calf roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, and team roping. Wow, that's a lot! Not to mention that the cowboys and cowgirls would not only deal with horses but bulls as well. Now, I am impressed.
Reserve National Finals Rodeo tickets and experience this ten-day event on the first week of December. I heard this event is one of the most popular events in the US every year, so better secure a seat now and get those cheers ready :)

Expired Domain
That's November for me. I need to renew my online mortgage a couple of months from now. The domain name was $10 then, and I hope Google will stick to that price. Or better, give their current subscribers a discount. I haven't explored the things I can do with having my own domain name until now like setting up my blog's own e-mail account and adding more web pages. Any tips on how to utilize a web domain name?
Shawie
Caregiver, Sharon Cuneta's latest movie, is number one at the box office. The movie's plot is relevant to most Filipinos overseas who works hard just to achieve a medical id and the circumstances that comes with being a Caregiver abroad. I've been seeing a lot of television ads about the movie that feature's the opinions of Filipino's abroad who have seen the movie. Most of them were really appreciative and claims that they are touched by the movie's storyline.
Lugaw Post with Pedicab's Shinji
Good Morning, guys! :)
Blogging in the morning after a delicious bowl of Lugaw is the best way to start this busy day. I'll be meeting my friends later for the final planning of the benefit concert this coming August. I heard they closed the deal with the managers of the two bands that we invited to play, so that's great. I don't know about the sponsors, though. We've, well Micah (hehe), sent proposals to some companies a few weeks ago. He updated us through SMS that one of the sponsors agreed to provide the food catering, and two agreed to give 10-15k. The marketing materials for the concertis are also ready so I am guessing we will concentrate our discussion on the strategies we will be doing to "sell" the event.
I bought Pedicab's latest release, Shinji, Ilabas Mo Na Ang Helicopter, last night. I've been a fan of the band since their Tugish Takish days. I was at Greenebelt to attend a friend's celebratory dinner, and Music One was just along the restaurant where we ate, so I made a quick stop at the Indie Artist section and purchased a copy.
The CD had been on my player since 7am this morning, and I could say that I am a satisfied fan. The 12-track LP is still packed with psychedelic tunes that is evidently Raimund's and the catchy lyrics penned by Diego Mapa.
The band mellowed-down a bit with this album in terms of the "heaviness" of their sound. Their first release have insane drum beats and distortions in every song. Plus Diego's sky-high energy can really be heard in most of the tracks, especially in Dito Tayo Sa Dilim and Konti Na Lang. I was expecting songs like these with Shinji. The distortions and the drum beats are still there but found that the melodies are more mature and toned-down. Go grab a copy of the album! It comes with a free 3D glasses at Php280 a pop and tell me what you think.

Celebrate Dad
Aside from the beginning of classes, this month is also a chance to show our love and appreciation for the man of the house. Mark your calendars: June 15 is Father's Day. Malls are now packed with ideas for fathers day gifts and promos. TV commercials are also releasing various versions of their advertisement that particularly cater to Fathers. Friendly reminders from the different television stations are also airing since last week, reminding young viewers to celebrate that special day with their dads. I searched the web for gift ideas for my father because I only have five days to prepare. The Great American Beer Club's Beer of the month club is one of the interesting sites that I found that has great suggestions on what great treat I can give my Papa. My father is an occasional drinker, and the web site's monthly beer club will be a perfect treat for him and for his friends. The website offers up to $25 discounts to customers all year. This means that members will receive $25 worth of "Club Cash" that can be redeemed and can be use to purchase other treats offered in the website. Check out their website here for more information.

A Real Post (In A Long While) Slash Birthday Wish List
Sorry for the lame title, but I believe I haven't posted a real blog post in a while. Most of them are random thoughts, answer to blog memes or entries just for the sake of writing one for that day. Two years ago, I was used to writing just anything that I want here. This was my comfort zone. This little space is the avenue of my thoughts. Maybe the feeling that it has sort of been violated is the main reason why I don't share that much. The thought that you have to always write intelligent, informative and insightful entries have overpowered my normal routine of just writing how my day went.
I have a lot of writing tasks since Thursday. I haven't started any of it. I also have two take-home exams that I haven't touched either. I am hanging on the edge of a cliff every single day. One wrong move and I'm done. The whole week had been so stressful for me that I wanted to just rest my mind completely.
Anyways, enough of the worries and the long list of tasks. Let's shift to the good vibes, shall we? I am looking forward to celebrating my birthday this year. It's exactly 27 days before the big day :) I am not really planning to distribute birthday invitations anytime soon, but it would be lovely if I can be with my friends that day so I've decided to plan a little get-together. Maybe have dinner at home and have a karaoke night of some sort.
Since this post is about not having too much inhibitions, I have decided to make a list of the things I want for my birthday. These are random things--material and non-material.
- 120mm film for my Holga - my only hope is to really order it again online. I only have one roll left so I decided to include it on my wish list.
- Holga 35mm adaptor - for me to use my Holga more often and not be bothered with where to get my 120s. They released the 135 version of the Holga, but there is something I particularly like about using 35mm films with the Holga 120 camera: the sprockets!
- a bunch of African Daisies - yes friends, I love flowers =D Surprise, surprise.
- home-made blueberry cheesecake - I'm a sucker for cheesecake. Woot!
- a copy of Dawson's Creek Volume 2 Soundtrack
- a copy of any of these DVDs: Never Been Kissed, High School Musical, A Very Long Engagement
- adult edition books by Roald Dahl - I have all his books written for kids like Matilda, Boy Tales of Childhood, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory etc. He released a lot of compilations of his short stories and ghost stories. I have The Umbrella Man and Other Stories and I want to collect the other books.
- write me a letter
be present at my birthday dinner :)
Bitamina
It's weird that I sometimes get unusual keywords to write about on my Inbox. Phentermine no prescription is one of them. It's funny because some of them is somewhat becoming a reminder that I need to go back to taking vitamins. My immune system was in a roller-coaster state these days. I feel fine one second, and then its either I'll suddenly sneeze non-stop, have a random fever or headache. Gaaah.
Villa
The cost of St. John villa rentals is the first on Dwight's list. He pretty much had everything planned. Seventy years of living in a small space will make this move his biggest yet. If only she can be with him. She who makes him whole.
Or so he thought.
Seventy years wasted.

Top 10K, Yey! =D
I found out that my blog is included on the list of Technorati's Top 10k blogs! Yey! It's now in Rank 9,073 out of 10 thousand blogs in the whole world, or in blog terms, Blogosphere. I know the ranking is not that high, but being included in the list is a big thing for this humble blog. Thank you, Technorati. Let's make it higher! Hehehe. To those of you who are interested for an exchange of links (meaning I will add you on my blogroll and vice versa), raise your hands! LOL. Just leave a comment here or on my Shoutbox that you linked my blog, then I will link you back.
Thanks and good night, bloggers. =D

Plans
My brother suggested that we upgrade our computer memory. It had been in its best condition in three years because the virus scanner is always updated. We created a back up of all the photos and videos over the weekend and cleared the files to add storage space. I asked my brother to compare prices before purchasing the computer memory. I hope we can install it soon.

Home Theatre
Stop thinking about the task at hand. Just do it.
Writing and then saying those two sentences out loud keeps me calm. I need to literally squeeze my brain until I finish all the things I need to do. Two home theater chairs and a box of popcorn would be a perfect remedy for stress. Now, how to get those two comfy chairs is next on the agenda.

Again, I am stressed. =D

Agent
Twenty-seven minutes and thirty-four seconds have passed since the last time I heard from the commercial real estate agent. I am guessing he is in a coffee break or looking around like a hawk in search of his next client. He was one of those persistent enough that his voice rings on my ear after that fifteen-minute talk. And now I am afraid that he is the one calling out my name right now...

Here Comes June Again
My youngest brother is the only one in our family who goes to school. My mom and I had been planning the budget because we need to allot for my brother's allowance. It's the first day of school tomorrow. After two long months of bumming around and enjoying a lot of free time, it's now back to books and exams as the semester starts. We managed to secure the amount needed for the tuition fee and other miscellaneous expenses without having to file for an "easy payday loan" type of loans. But if you are in need of extra cash, there are a lot of available lending companies that offers payday loans that present a manageable paying plan. Paydayloanaffiliate.com gives its clients a flexible way of securing a loan by considering the client’s financial situation and their payday schedule. Perfectcashadvance.com offers a great deal for clients because they don’t require a lot of documents, all you need to do is to secure an application form from the site and an agent from the company will immediately contact you to further process your loans. Both websites specializes on non-refinancing process and allowing the applicants to save money in the long run. Visit their respective websites for more information.
Inspire Me
That's what I need. My mentors would hate this blog entry, but I felt I haven't been inspired that much these days. I am surrounded by the most amazing people you will ever meet, and I know that should be enough to get me inspired and to get me going. FEAR. That's it. I am overpowered by fear that I see the world differently and not how others see it. I am 24 years old and I still have a pile of fear that sometimes I cannot handle. Some of those fear are even non-sense that I don't understand why I have them. So I have decided to list down the things that I do that I feel brave, happy and inspired. Maybe writing it down would make me appreciate it more. Maybe writing it down will help me understand myself more and appreciate things more. I will create a random list of the these things later before I go to bed. I will post the list here soon.
