Pill

One doze of her trusted diet pill with her breakfast had been a routine. Ham, bacon and egg sandwiches are a good choice. Oh, waffles and three pieces of pandesal with butter are on the table too. Two glasses of her favorite milk chocolate brand in fast gulps after the sandwiches, and she's all set.

Someone's Crushing

On the lighter side of my whirlwind week, I was surprised to see my name written on my cup with these extra smiley face and what looks like a butterfly when I ordered at Starbucks in Jupiter the other day. That's why this cutie barista was all smiles and kept on repeating my name while brewing my order. Good thing, I got his name. Mwehehehe.

I am checking my laptop memory and finding ways to cure errors, minor errors, that is. A friend of mine said that regular updates from Windows will do the trick. The system's currently updating as I am writing this entry. I hope the errors would be minimized after the updates.

I will be attending two birthday parties tonight: One's here in Binangonan and the other is in Teresa.

The one in Teresa is my college professor's 50th birthday. It will be a mini-reunion as well with my acquaintances back in college. She's expecting me to be there this morning because I promised her that I will be taking pictures of the workshop they'll be having for the kids, but my schedule was ruined since yesterday and I really need to finish my blog tasks this weekend.

The other one here in Binangonan will be a get-together with my best friend and our good friend for her post-birthday celebration. Her birthday was last Friday, the 17th. I don't have an idea what the plan is, but I am guessing the three of us would just hang-out and chat till we drop, hehe.

HDMI wall plate and six more are given to me as an assignment for this weekend. I was set to blog yesterday, but the schedule got messed up and a lot of time was wasted. There is something about me and things not going as planned for the past three weeks, and it's frustrating and tiring all at the same time. Everything is on me, anyways. I am just tired of everything that has and had been happening.

Frustrations ends for a while tonight. While I have been bitten here and there by our not so friendly house pets -- the mosquitoes -- I just had to blog and write whatever that does not involve me and making more than ten mouse strokes and clicks in a second. Trying to make sense of what I just wrote? Well, don't.

This blog will be invaded by Up Dharma Down, their new album and the rest that comes with it in the coming days. As I have shared with my earlier posts, Armi send me a couple of e-cards that will serve as a countdown for the launch on the 24th. I posted the first two, and I commend Mr. Mayor for a job well done with each of the cards. I decided to include a "fast fact" about the band to each of the countdown that I'll be posting. I'll include video and more article links within those "fast facts" in the coming days.

We have two new addition to the family: Chase and Tutets.

They're bouncy little dogs. It is a delight to all of us being dragged out of our beds by these two every morning and seeing them running around and greeting us at the end of each day. That's Tutets, looking a bit annoyed, with me in the picture. She's shy, unlike Chase who wags his tail and jumps non-stop. I told my friends about Chase and Tutets. Two of my friends gave Chase a nick name: Chase Morgan the third alias Tsako.

Of course, Brush and the rest of the feline members of the family were not happy about the two. There's an unspoken feud amongst them.

*hikab

I am drained. Signing off now.

Bipolar In Eight Days

I got an e-mail and a wall-to-wall facebook shout out from Armi today. She sent me the coolest e-cards: the Bipolar countdown e-cards! I posted one the other day, and expect more until the 23rd. Here's one for today, eight days before Up Dharma Down's big day.

Dharma Fast Fact: Up Dharma Down was the first Filipino band to be featured in MTV's "Advanced Warning", a segment where they feature up-and-coming artist in the asian region and worldwide.

Bipolar On The 24th

The long wait is over! After two years of basically memorizing every single song in their first album, Fragmented, Up Dharma Down will be launching their sophie album on October 24 at the Hexagon Lounge, RCBC Plaza in Makati.

The much-awaited album is called Bipolar. For Php500, UDD fans can get a free drink and a special CD+DVD package of the album. Mark your calendars, people! :)

I am a week behind on my blog tasks. Some of them I was able to write and submit 30 minutes before the deadline. I only have insurance quotes and three other keywords due today, so I guess I am good. If only the internet connection speed would improve within the next hour...

I am almost done with the book. Eclipse would be the next, but almost all of the bookstores around are still waiting for the next batch of copies. I will try to download free audio books of Stephenie Meyer's works since paperback copies is not available until the end of the month.

Branson Vacation

We are nearing the end of this year and what a great way to end it by taking a break and exploring the world. It's sounds easy, but having a great vacation means working hard and constant planning before all of it happens. I am looking forward to exploring Manila and its hidden charm before this year ends and maybe the half of next year. I am cooking of things to do and the names of the right people to contact for it. I would love to explore the boundaries beyond our country. Of course, US is one of them. I look up some of the interesting places in some of the US states, and the new attraction in Missouri is definitely a must-see.

Fun and entertainment had been the main attraction of Branson, Missouri. Theme parks, inviting hotels and the state's natural charm are a plus. They are now offering a great deal when it comes to their tourist vacation packages. Check out the link for more information about Branson and their tour packages.

Gone in a second. The alli and other techniques work hand in hand just fine. The company started the ploy weeks ago, and the system seemed to be effective, except for some. The target was to bring the other company at the end of its glorious days, which had lasted in a level the same at it was 25 years ago. A bigger plan is set to be created and should be acted upon once its done. Only time can tell what would be the outcome. So let us keep a watchful eye and our fingers crossed, shall we.

Samsonite was first on the list of the things I have to write about. Haven't had the time to blog these past few days because of next week's deadline. This is what's keeping my mind busy for the whole week. Good thing, there was a bit of a breaker when we had the videoke night last Tuesday.

I miss taking pictures.

I got my second round of Holga scans three weeks ago. I posted it on my deviantArt page, and some random photos taken using my Motorola V3i phone. Speaking of pictures, I have been reminding a friend of mine to at least put a credit on the photo that I took during their band rehearsals, and not just put Studio Shoot. It wasn't even like that when I took the shots that time. I just fell in love with how the light condition was in their little studio, and decided to take some shots of their band. I love how the photos turned out so I posted it on my Multiply page. I've been constantly reminding my friends to credit, not just my photos, but photos they get or grab from other people's site or websites when they post it on their respective pages and profiles. All of them followed my little request, except for him.

It has been months, and he shouldn't have said Yes if he won't do it.

Annoying, really.

Anyways, I posted this photo from our Zambales trip last July. That's me at the Capones Lighthouse, tweaking my camera. It's getting colder day by day because of the -ber months, but I badly miss the waves and the sandy shores. *sigh
