2008 has only a couple of hours left. I spent half of my day looking at pictures from the activities I had this year and realized that this year is one of my favorite year to date. I've had a lot of days where safety equipments have been very useful and braving myself to try new things were unavoidable. I'll be noting all of the fun and not so fun things of my 2008 here on my blog before this day end. I'll eat dinner first. All those reminiscing made me hungry, hehe.

Warming Up

Mumbling, jumbling, grumbling and stumbling; words came out as a surprise. Tongue-tied, stuttering, making sense of everything. Ju Ju Be, butchikik, kwek-kwek -- all this jumble mumble is causing me trouble, better start writing and stop all this rumble.

Uncoolness

One of the stupidest news I heard about a celebrity this year is about a famous TV show host who purchased a Ferrari and being able to pull some strings at customs and not paying a million-dollar worth of dues for the luxury car. Ferrari parts alone would cost an average Filipino family's food, clothing, and miscellaneous expenses for the whole year. People these days are unbelievable. Man, try driving your Ferrari in EDSA for everyone's sake. You'll definitely get what's coming for you.

Happy Christmas?

No comments:
How was your Christmas? A friend of mine bluntly asked me if my Christmas was happy after sending her a "Happy Christmas! =D" via SMS. My father have been bugging me to get some of items from Grohe which I found annoying most of the time because we do not need a new set of bathroom faucets. This request got me a bit frustrated the entire time before Christmas. Finally, I had him convinced and withdrew the request and let me continue with my usual internet tasks. Aside from that faucet request from my father, everything was great about my Christmas. How about you?

Saguijo Aftermath

1 comment:
I just got home from Saguijo. Terno Inferno was a huge success tonight. Punong-puno ang bar :) I met the some of the geniuses behind Everywhere We Shoot, a young Indie film director and the director of Up Dharma Down's On Either Side documentary. It was nice meeting all of you. Thanks Armi and Mayee for introducing me to these new bunch. And also, I had soooo much fun during our short but sweet chat before Up Dharma's set. Looking forward to more of those "girl-bonding" time, hehehe.

I tried my very best to shoot some photos at the gig using my Motorola V3i phone.

More photos here

It's almost 5 AM. My adrenalin is still sky high and I still am not sleepy. I might read one of my books and scan a few magazines first before I call it a day. Good night/ Good morning, everyone!

Hinay Lang

Holidays feasts, believe it or not, are too far from over. We had a full-on carbs overload for the past two days care of our Titos and Titas and promised that they'll splurge and prepare a more satisfying meal come Media Noche. Knowing that my weight-conscious Aunt would once again ask for tips on diet pills (she's been asking me for tips all year) I searched online and bumped into diet solutions from Fenterdren. Ayways, going back to more food talk, I am craving for peppermint brownies. I'll drop by at Lord Stowes and get a box of these plus their coffee brownies. Sugar overload! I caaannnt wait. =D

TeloWarp

No comments:
Before I start googling the best travel deals online for my 09 adventures, let me share pictures from our recent Christmas party held at the JW lounge last December 12.

The party had a flashback theme. I did my very best to dress up the way the women back in the 70s does by wearing a simple, not-so-mini dress and a white platform shoes (thanks, Gene!). I headed the program committee. I ran around a lot preparing the props for the games and coaching the emcees that I only lasted three minutes wearing the platform shoes. I wore my cute 50-peso yellow Spartan tsinelas the whole night instead. Hehe, madaya

Oh, I won the raffle again this year! Wahoo :-D

I was the first raffle winner of the night and got a brand new radio alarm clock. I always win the raffle, which is great because I've never been so lucky with raffles not until I became a part of the Teloworks family. I won this on my first year and a thousand worth of department store gift certificates last year. Not bad, huh?

Pill Prowess

No comments:
I bet sales on diet pills will be high in the coming weeks. Holiday bulges will be on its way. I bet it started a week ago because of the countless parties here and there. Food with fats and high sugar contents tops the menu of these parties. I've been to three of them, and I still can't get enough. Hehe.

Tambak

Listening to Dave Matthews Band's old albums is relaxing and somewhat depressing at the same time. Depressingly good that is, if there is such a term. I found my 5-year-old CD with some of the band's albums like The Lillywhite Sessions (Busted Stuff), Crash and Remember Two Things. The CD was given to me by a colleague when I was an Intern for Probe Productions Inc. back in early 2003. I forgot his name, but I remember exchanging CDs with him. He gave me his recommended music and I gave him a compilation of my favorite tunes. I wish I can remember his name, though.

Anyways, so I checked my Inbox and found a week's worth of blog tasks. I have been busy with the Christmas party and the projects at the office that I never got the chance to blog. A short article about a store's franchise and ten more are pending. Two of them were due yesterday and last December 7. Other blog assignments were nearly cancelled by the client, but was able to submit them on time. All's good with blog raket, hehe.

I will be posting about Rock The Riles pictures and Christmas party kuwentos in the coming days.

Coffee break muna...
