Cool Inferno

I was in it last night.

It was quite an experience being in a small room where sound waves slaps deep into your skin and erasing all the stress that you’ve had after a long week.

My kudos goes to Terno Recordings for yet another successful Terno Inferno last night at Cafe Saguijo. Last night was extra-special as the event also served as the launching of Team Manila’s limited edition Terno Recordings Shirts.

Ang Bandang Shirley started the night and played a couple of songs. Three of its band members weren’t present and had three a guest sessionist instead. The three guest band members sessionist played with their drummer and one of the band’s lead vocalist, Owel. I had the pleasure of finally meeting Owel last night because of Mayee. I often see him at the Greenbelt walkway during lunch break. I asked him about it and he said that his girlfriend used to work for Kate Torralba’s shop at Greenbelt 5. Now, I can at least say hi to him if ever I’ll see him again at the walkway. :)

Aside from Owel, Mayee also introduced me to her friends’ Karen and John. They’re both really nice. We had the chance to bond and chat a bit in between bands last night. Karen, John and I decided to stay outside of the venue and only went inside during Shirley, Dharma and Sago’s set. I learned from Karen that there are a variety of jobs one can apply to when you majored in International Studies. You can be a flight attendant, an ambassador, manage an international hotel etc. She’s an incoming senior sophomore and is really excited to work overseas soon. John, on the other hand, is busy managing their family business. It was really nice of him to buy me, Mayee and Karen drinks before Up Dharma Down’s set. The four of us had a blast singing along during Dharma’s set.

I tried my luck and shoot a couple of pictures last night using my MotoV3i phone.

 

It was 3am when the four of us decided to leave Saguijo. I reached home around 4:30 am.

Oh by the way, the limited edition Terno Recordings shirts are now available in selected Team Manila stores around the Metro at Php550 a pop.
